Staines Harmonica Band circa 1938

Originally known as St Peter's Harmonica Band it was formed by a group of enthusiastic harmonica players from the Laleham Road/Edgell Road area. The band raised a great deal of money for charitable causes and there was always a great demand for its services at local concerts and wedding receptions.
The band was disbanded shortly before the outbreak of war.
